Join us to learn about the physical and emotional benefits of expressive writing. This practice is gaining acceptance as a therapeutic tool in a variety of settings, including veterans’ centers, prisons, hospitals, and residential treatment facilities for substance use addictions. Participants will get to experience some of these benefits themselves as they try a few different writing and journaling exercises during this 1.5-hour session.
